2. Wearable Tech Revolutionizes Classroom

https://www.edsys.in/how-wearable-technology-revolutionizing-classroom-learning/

When I think of the current times with Covid 19 this line from the article sums up why it is so crucial we have a better understanding of wearable technology.  “With wearables in place, teachers can conduct real-time classes without assembling all the students under one roof.”  I think about how we can’t go to school and we won’t be under one roof and if all the students had technology like this we wouldn’t have to worry about everyone following along.  Another thing I like about the article is its explanation of how VR goggles allow students to learn another language easier.  I think back to me as a kid struggling in Spanish and then later with French and I wonder if I would have fared better if I had a tool like this available to me.

  1. The idea of using wearable technology to enhance online learning is an awesome thought. However, as it is we have students that are in the low income bracket, or simply can't afford internet, let alone wearable technology. In a perfect world, I wouldn't mind teaching online if we had access to all that technology. Perhaps someday it will be just another feature to have for class, like paper and pencil have always been a requirement.

I definitely believe you would have struggled less with learning other languages if you had this tool in school. Anyone who is immersed in the language will definitely pick it up quicker.

  2. Yes with online learning wearables will help close the gap. Also it would be good for use on snow days when schools are closed
